The Advanced Thixotropic Technology ( ATT technique ) in Hyaluronic Acid Gel/ HYACORP
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is in use in medicine for a long time with a long safety profile.
HA in his natural form has a short duration time in the tissue, because of the enzymatic degradation and free radical metabolization.
To avoid this effects, HA get in all dermal fillers modified through cross-linking to form a water-insoluble polymer hydrogel, more resistant to degradation, but with a similar biocompatibility as non- modified HA.
The property of a specially designed cross-linked HA gel of becoming less viscous under pressure (injecting force) and returning immediately to the original viscosity upon ending of the pressure (injecting force) is a characteristic of a system (Advanced Thixotropic Technology = ATT technique) exhibiting a decrease in viscosity with an increase in the rate of shear, usually a function of time.
BioScience developed a manufacturing process that allows to build-up this special types of cross-linked HA gels. This gel has a covalent binding of the molecules and leads to better duration and stability of the product in the tissue.
The network from this thixotropic HA molecules reduced also the diffusion rate of the enzyme Hyaluronidase into the matrix. As a result of this crosslinking technique, a smooth, homogeneous Gel (HYACORP) is created.
A simple injection of HYACORP augments and shapes the body and face concavities to give volume and lift.

The appliance of HYACORP is an easy procedure and only causes little if any bruising. It is possible to adjust the shape of the body in a natural, non-permanent way that does not involve the use of implants, body fat or steam-cells in a major surgical procedure.
With HYACORP no general anaesthesia is needed and there is no risk to be left with a scar (as in plastic surgery). With HYACORP, the procedure is short and requires only local anaesthetic and minimal time away from work or after-work activities. Normally the procedure takes only 30-90 minutes and the result last up to 12 months.
Benefits:
- Local anaesthesia
- Minimum downtime (no hospital stay needed, short recovery)
- Instant result
- Natural product
- Minimum risk of scarring
- Subtle, natural results
- Adjustments can be made step by step to achieve individual objectives.
The special viscosity and particle size of HYACORP comes from the THIXOTROPIC technique, which uses low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid (LMW - HA) which enables more effective cross-linking. The variability of particle sizes allows different types of treatment.
The Family of HYACORP consists of
HYACORP Face
HYACORP Lips
HYACORP S
for volumetric tissue augmentation.
Hyacorp H
Hyacorp L
Hyacorp H-S
for body contouring.
Important notice: The use within breast enhancement has not been fully astablished by now. Ongoing biocompatibility tests (e.g. cancerogenicity) are in process.
